QUEENSBURY --- Linda J. Nichols, 79, passed away after a long illness on Thursday, July 30, 2026.

Born April 15, 1947 in Cambridge, N.Y. she was the daughter of Leon and Jeanne (Dixon) Tucker.

Linda attended Greenwich Central School and graduated in 1965. Following graduation she attend some community college.

Linda worked at Wallie’s Restaurant while in high school, she then went onto work for Lincoln Investigations, ESPY Manufacturing, S.A.I.L., and Warren Washington Association for Mental Health.

Linda did tours with Franzen Bro’s Circus as well as partial tours with the Ringling Brothers. Linda also enjoyed playing music for the church and riding motorcycles.

Linda was a member of the Patriot Guard, Bondiful Blessings Ministry, and St. Anthony on the Hudson Franciscian Retreat Center as their music director.

In addition to her parents, Linda was predeceased by maternal grandparents, Madeline Rivers and Frederick C. Dixon; and brother, Roy C. Tucker.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Ronald W. Nichols and his partner, Tammy; as well as niece, Cindy Ali Morehouse.

A graveside ceremony will take place Tuesday, August 11, 2026 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Greenwich, NY.
