Obituary

Queensbury - Linda J. Robitaille, 86, peacefully passed away on June 23, 2026. She was born in Glens Falls on April 8, 1940.

Linda is survived by is her son, Gary Kauffman and his wife, Michelle; daughter, Kimberly Bishop and her husband, Scott; brother, Richard Jones; grandchildren, Fallon Kauffman, Ashley Kauffman, Brandon Kauffman and his wife, Sarah, Cheyenne Bishop, and Mason Bishop; great grandchildren, Kenleigh Ralston and Gavin Ralston; aunt, Shirley Seville; as well as Linda’s many nieces, nephews, cousins and good friends.

Passing before Linda is her husband, Ed Robitaille; parents, Doris and Charles (Chuck) Smith; brother, George Jones; and sister, Eleanor King.

Linda was a loving and caring mother and person. She was a registered nurse, caring for many people and family members. She was employed by Glens Falls Hospital for many years. She finished her nursing career as the director of nursing at the Tri County Nursing Home in North Creek. Linda also taught religious education at Our Lady of the Annunciation.

Mostly Linda enjoyed her family, especially her grandkids. She attended sporting events, concerts, plays, and family gatherings. Linda also enjoyed traveling with her husband, Ed.

Visitation will take place Thursday, July 2, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette St., Queensbury, NY 12804.

A funeral service will follow at 11:30 a.m. with Rev. Joseph Busch officiating.

A graveside ceremony will follow at Pine View Cemetery, 21 Quaker Rd., Queensbury, NY 12804.
