GLENS FALLS --- Lynn "Junior" S. Lewis, 77, passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2023, after a brief illness.

Born March 30, 1946, in Glens Falls, he was the son of Delbert R. Lewis and Marion Grace (Stewart) King.

Lynn was a Vietnam Veteran that was awarded a Purple Heart and a National Defense Service Medal for his service. He had various jobs in the local area including Native Textiles, he was a line cook at Red Lobster and worked at OTB.

He was also an avid lifelong Yankee fan. (Which is a HUGE understatement!!) Another favorite pastime was casino trips with his friends and family. He also enjoyed fishing and was always up to join in whatever anyone wanted to do for fun.

Lynn was a lifelong resident of the Glens Falls area and was loved and will be truly missed by his friends and family.

In addition to his parents, Lynn was predeceased by his companion, Dottie Palmer; his brother, Daniel D. Lewis; and his nephew, Aaron Lewis.

Those left to cherish his memory are his great lifelong friend, Jerry Grover; his sisters, Diana Lewis and Sheri (Tom) Kohorst, both of Cincinnati, OH; his brother, Karl (Debbie) Lewis of Queensbury; his sister-in-law, Barbara Lewis of Lake Luzerne; his nieces, Kerrie Lewis, Melody Dutcher, Tanya MacNeil, and Christina Kraus; his nephews, Mark Lewis, Thomas Kohorst Jr., and Jason Bloom; his cousin, Carol (John) Plude; many cousins and great nieces, nephews; also his companion's children whom he was very close with, Bonnie Cochrane, and Frank, John and George Palmer.

Visitation will take place Wednesday, June 14, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette St., Queensbury, NY 12804.

A funeral service will take place Thursday, June 15, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Laura Mitchell, officiating.

A graveside ceremony with military honors will follow at Pine View Cemetery.

A gathering will take place at the Elks Lodge on Cronin Rd. in Queensbury following the burial.
