Obituary

QUEENSBURY – Lynne Anne (Schoelermann) Volino, 64, of Upper Sherman Ave., passed away Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2015, at Glens Falls Hospital, with her loving family by her side.

Born March 11, 1951 in Glens Falls, she was the daughter to the late John and Janet (Pattee) Schoelermann.

After graduating High School in South Glens Falls she was an at home daycare provider for many families. She loved her job and being part of so many children's lives.

On Sept. 7, 1975 she was married to Anthony Volino Sr. who shared a wonderful 40 years by her side.

Lynne was an avid reader; she loved camping, traveling and leisurely rides on the motorcycle or in the car with her husband. She enjoyed interior decorating, gardening, being outdoors, her pool, and most of all she cherished playing with her grandchildren. Overall she just loved people.

Along with her parents, Lynne was predeceased by her in-laws, Thomas and May Volino Sr. and her brother-in-law, Thomas Volino Jr.

Left to cherish her loving memory include her husband, Anthony Volino Sr.; her daughter, Vanessa (David) Simons; son, Anthony Volino Jr.; her grandchildren, Vincenzo, Dominic, Antonia Simons, and little Anthony Volino III due November 2015; her sisters include Laurie (Schoelermann) Bovair and Susan (Schoelermann) Egbert; brothers, Jay (Donna) Schoelermann and James (Cindy) Schoelermann; many special nieces and nephews; along with Marcus, their French Mastiff and everyone knew Lynne always loved her English Bulldogs.

Lynne was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a loving sister, daughter, friend, and aunt. She will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Calling hours will take place Wednesday, Sept. 23 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette, St., Queensbury.

A memorial service will follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Flossie Gage Bates officiating.

Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
