WARRENSBURG --- Margaret "Margee" Brown Baker, 74, passed away peacefully at Albany Medical Center on Monday, October 4, 2021.

Born March 9, 1947, in Geneva, NY, she was the daughter of the late Richard R. and Onolee (Wild) Brown Sr.

Following graduation from Geneva High School, Margee attended SUNY Plattsburgh and graduated from Adirondack Community College. She was employed at Glens Falls Hospital as an RN.

Margee loved being a mother and a grandmother. She was an exceptional baker, candymaker and had a wonderful sense of humor. She enjoyed gardening, reading and greatly loved the peace and quiet of the Adirondacks which she called home for over 50 years. Margee will be greatly missed by all she welcomed into her orbit.

She is survived by her children, Rebecca (Ray) Brown, Alicia (Pat) Farrell, Melinda (Chris) Burkhardt, Cara, Chad, Seth (Kelsey), Nancy, Gretchen, Jed and Callee (Ted) Baker; 9 grandchildren whom she loved dearly; a sister, Connie Covert; a brother, Richie (Patty). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
