GLENS FALLS – Margaret (Daly) Marcio, 86, went into the arms of God Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2013, from Glens Falls Hospital.
Born May 3, 1926, in Yonkers, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Mary (Mahoney) Daly.
Margaret attended Sacred Heart Catholic School in Yonkers. On Dec. 6, 1946, she married Anthony Marcio at St. Casmir Church in Yonkers, and had the privilege of being a housewife and raising her children. She also enjoyed going to BINGO with her sister, Anna, and three nieces, Anna, Terry, and Maryann.
In addition to her parents, and her husband, Anthony Marcio, Margaret was predeceased by her son, Anthony Marcio Jr., and a sister, Rita Stone.
Survivors include her 6 sisters, Anna Fitzpatrick of Glens Falls, Madeline Marcio of TX, Theresa Potachak of Florida, Eileen Fitzpatrick of Yonkers, Patricia Maniscalco of Yonkers, and Sharon O'Sullivan; one brother, Michael Daly of Yonkers; several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
At her request, there will be no calling hours or funeral.
