Queensbury – Marie Theresa Baker Passed away March 11, 2026 at Glens Falls Hospital with loved ones at her side. She was born September 29, 1954 in Portsmouth, Virgina the daughter of Herman and Gabriel (Couture) Hanshaw.

She was employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant for 6 years at Sacred Heart Nursing Home in Plattsburgh, NY.

Marie married her husband, Raymond on February 21, 1976, in Schuyler Falls, NY.

She enjoyed crafting such as crocheting, jewelry making, and diamond painting, she also enjoyed cooking for her family.

Marie is predeceased by her parents. Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Raymond Baker; daughters, Danielle Wrisley, Crystal Baker and Patricia Baker; grandchildren, Justin Gordon, Samantha Nephew, Tabitha O’Neill, Matthew Wrisley, Shelbey Bushey, Haley Bushey and Gabrielle Wrisley; great grandchildren, Anastasia Gordon, Brylee O’Neill, Bentey Nephew, Rosemary Wrisley, Marinette Gordon and Ivy O’Neill; sisters, Cathy, Sandra and Jean; brothers, Jimmy, Art, Donny, Mike, and Butch; 22 nephews and nieces; 2 dogs, Buddy and Phoebe; in-laws, Roy Baker, Jeff & his wife, Donna Baker, Lawrence & his wife, Kathy Baker, Sheila Desrocher, Rosie Stall, Chris Baker; many nieces & nephews and friends.

There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
