WARRENSBURG--- Marie C. Brown, 95, passed away Monday, July 29, 2024.

Born May 29, 1929, in Dunoon, Scotland, she was the daughter of Archibald and Marie (Cocozza) Craig.

Marie graduated from St. Mun's Catholic School. She worked as a beautician at Lewis's Salon in Glasgow, Scotland before moving to the states, where she managed Scotty's Restaurant in Lake George and also ran Hickory Hill Snack Bar.

She married Edward G. Brown on October 3, 1959, at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Lake George.

In addition to her parents, Marie was predeceased by her husband, Edward G. Brown.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Theresa Keenan and Lisa Riley; grandchildren, Theresa Dano, Kara Mehalick, Shirley Riley, and Craig Keenan; and great-grandchildren, Payton and Briley Dano, Natalie and Brody Gipe, Mikayla Kendel, and Theo Mehalick.

Per Marie's wishes, there will be no services.
