Obituary

Bolton Landing --- Marilyn R. Smith, 87, passed away peacefully at Fort Hudson Nursing Home on March 6, 2019.

Born in Glens Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Bernard and Vivian Ramsey.

Marilyn was a past member of The Masonic Eastern Star, the Bolton Book Club, and The United Methodist Church of Bolton Landing.

She is retired from First National Bank; Bolton Landing Branch, always sending a smile to all that entered. She was a loving wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, and friend to all.

She is predeceased by her husband Frederick C. Smith, her son Frederick R. Smith, her brother Bernard Ramsey, and sister, Carol Gaskin.

Marilyn is survived by her children, Douglas and his wife, Adrienne, of Moosup, CT, Gregory and his wife, Shelia, of Bolton Landing, Constance Reilly and husband, Edward, of Bolton Landing, Stuart and his partner, Bernard, of Bolton Landing, and her sister, Barbara Adsit of Hood River, OR.  Her loving grandchildren, Steven (Molly), Christopher (Krista), David (Mackenzie), Conor, Matthew (Cathryn), Alex (Bridgette) and her eight great-grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.

Please join us in celebrating Marilyn's life on Saturday, May 4, 2019. Calling hours are from 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at The United Methodist Church in Bolton Landing, NY. A memorial service will start at 10:30 a.m.
