DAY --- Marjorie L. Pidgeon, 85, passed away Saturday, July 9, 2022.

Born May 10, 1937, in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of Leon and Margaret (Wanser) Allen.

Marjorie was a graduate of Hadley-Luzerne Central School. Following graduation, she worked at the Corinth Shirt Factory for many years before being appointed Justice of the Peace for the Town of Day. She held this position for 18 years and became a member of the New York State Magistrates Association.

She shared 65 wonderful years with her husband, Donald "Lou" Pidgeon, raising their three children, Donald Jr., Janet, and Toby. She also loved taking care of her many dogs throughout the years, and more recently her cat, "Patchy."

Some of her enjoyments in life were fishing, hunting, and cooking big dinners for her family. She especially enjoyed taking her chances at the casinos in Saratoga, Atlantic City and the Indian Reserve.

Marjorie was predeceased by her parents, Leon and Margaret (Wanser) Allen.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Donald "Lou" Pidgeon; children, Donald Jr. and his companion, Janet Hutchens of Moreau, Janet and Don of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Toby Pidgeon of Day; grandchildren, Toby Jr., Nicholas, Jenifer, Kristi, Heather, Alexander, Zachary, and Tyler; and brother, Leon and his wife, Jeannie of Day.
