WARRENSBURG – Mark Reed Meldola, 74, of Countryside Adult Home, and formerly of the Liberty House in Glens Falls, passed away Thursday, October 15, 2015 at Albany Medical Center.
Mark was born September 21, 1941 in Allentown, Penn., to Fred C. and Josephine M. (Sutphen) Meldola.
After receiving his G.E.D., Mark joined the United States Army and served for 5 years before his honorable discharge in 1969. He was very proud of his time served.
Mark became a member of Lake George American Legion Post No. 374 in 1971.
For many years Mark worked at the Glen St., Glens Falls Price Chopper.
Mark was well loved by his friends and will be greatly missed.
Calling hours will take place Wednesday, October 28, from 10a.m. to 11 a.m. at Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette St., Queensbury, NY.
A memorial service will take place at 11 a.m., at the funeral home, with the Rev. Derek Hansen officiating.
Burial will be held at Evergreen Cemetery, Lake George, immediately following the service.
