QUEENSBURY --- Martha A. Dickinson, 78, passed away Saturday, June 27, 2015, at Haynes House of Hope in Granville.
Born Feb. 24, 1937 in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of Francis and Dorothy (Kirby) Dingman.
Martha married John J. Dickinson on August 11, 1985.
She enjoyed long drives in the country, as well as reading and gardening. Above all, she loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, John J. Dickinson; a daughter, Debbi Haskell; a sister, Claire Wadley; and a brother, Francis Dingman.
Those left to cherish her memory are 13 children, Melanie (David) Digeorgis, Keith Brill, Nanette Levy, Leland (Patti) Brill, Heather (David) Prenguber, Elise (Tom) Nicholson, John (Stella) Dickinson, Wendy (Leo) Talback, Heather (John) Monroe, Dale (Kathy) Dickinson, Julie (Bill) Dresser, and Judie (Kevin) Brown; many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; a sister, Elaine Gilman; two brothers, Richard and Ron Dingman; also several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will take place Monday, July 6, from 11 a.m. to noon at Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette St., Queensbury, NY 12804.
Burial will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Fort Edward with the Rev. Richard Engert, High Peaks Hospice Chaplain, officiating.
