HUDSON FALLS — Martin Chester Crandall, 62, passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at his home.
Born in Glens Falls on October 5, 1953 to his parents, Chester A. Crandall and Ruth (Prosser) Wood.
Martin spent his time enjoying country music, especially Johnny Cash, taking pictures, and bird watching. For many years he was proud to manage the building he lived in.
Martin was predeceased by his father, Chester Crandall and his step-father, Herbert Wood Sr.
Those left to cherish his memory include his lifelong companion, Gloria Wescot; his children, Marty Crandall, Heidi Crandall, Martin Crandall, Angel, Christina Morgan, and Chris Crandall; two grandchildren; two sisters, Shirley Jackson, and Tammy Corlew; six brothers, Scott Crandall, Shawn Wood, Herbert Wood, Calvin Wood, Brian Wood, and Shannon Wood; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Services are private to the family including a graveside service at Reynolds Cemetery in Thurman.
