Obituary

LAKE GEORGE --- Mary Katherine Bradley, 57, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 29, 2024.

Born February 28, 1967. in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of Oliver W. Bradley, Sr. and Carrie (Rouse) Bradley.

Mary is best remembered as the happy, singing cashier at the Price Chopper in Lake George Village, affectionately known to locals as Mini Chopper. She made friends with every person who came through her line or into her life. She loved going to karaoke and singing with her karaoke family and her son, Russell. She could be found daily, sometimes multiple times a day, at the Stewart's Shop in Lake George talking to, and serenading employees, friends, and whoever else happened to be there. She was well loved by everyone in her community, and she loved everyone just as much. She might not have remembered every name, but she remembered every face.

In addition to her parents, Mary was predeceased by her grandparents, Mary Hattie Rouse and Levi Rouse, Sr.

Those left to cherish her memory are her companion, Patrick McGuire of Lake George; children, Russell Stewart, Jr. of Lake George, Carrie Stewart, and son-in-law, Daniel Olbrych of Lake George, sister, Debra Patterson of Glens Falls; brother, Oliver "Wendell" Bradley, Jr. of Glens Falls; uncles, Leavi Rouse, Jr. and Harry Rouse; niece, Brianna McMahon;  nephews, William Patterson, Kevin Patterson, Andrew Patterson, Anthony Bradley, and Jahmal Bradley; several cousins; and her beloved grandcats, Mr. Fatty and Rex.

Mary's Service will be held on March 15th at the Faith Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church in Glens Falls. Calling hours are from 9AM to 11AM and are open to the public for all who would like to pay their respects. The service will begin at 11AM and we ask that only close friends and family attend.
