QUEENSBURY --- Mary Couture, 89, passed away after a brief illness Tuesday, October 1, 2024.

Mary was born on March 21, 1935 in Patterson City, New Jersey, she was the daughter of Salvador and Millie (Zisa) Messina.

Mary attended East Side High School and worked for Dunkin Donuts in Newark, New Jersey, for twenty-five years.

Mary's hobbies and enjoyments included playing cards, listening to music, dancing, dressing up, and loving people.

In addition to her parents, Mary was predeceased by her spouse, Leo G. Couture; siblings, Rose Messina, Tina Miller, Eddie Messina, Carmen Messina, Salvador Messina, and Louie Messina.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Art (Karen) Couture of Fort Edward; grandchildren, Amber Norton (Travis) of Glens Falls, and Anthony J. Couture (Brittany) of Glens Falls; great-grandchildren, Scarlet Rose Norton of Glens Falls, and Logan Anthony Couture of Glens Falls; sisters, Millie Messina of Toms River, New Jersey, and Joyce Messina of Newark, New Jersey; brother, Chuck Messina of New Jersey; in-laws, Arthor J. Couture and Olive Couture; also, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A graveside ceremony will take place at 10 A.M., Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at Pine View Cemetery, 21 Quaker Rd, Queensbury, NY 12804.
