STONY CREEK-May Tremaine, 47, of Tucker Road, Stony Creek, passed away suddenly at Glens Falls Hospital on Friday Sept. 2, 2016.
Born January 10, 1969 on Long Island, she was the beloved daughter of Kam Mui (Yau) and the late Sui Fun Lee.
May married the love of her life, John Tremaine on August 4, 1995 at their outdoor sanctuary John built at their family home.
After graduating from Walt Whitman High School, Long Island, May continued her education pursuing a career in healthcare. For many years, May worked at WWARC and at the box office at the Glens Falls Civic Center. Most recently, she worked at Support Link of Queensbury. Her greatest enjoyments were doing everything with her family, who will miss her greatly.
Besides her father, Sui Fun Lee, May was predeceased by her mother-in-law, Rita May Tremaine and her father-in-law, Orlin Carleton Tremaine Sr.
Survivors besides her loving mother, Kam Mui Lee of Queens, and her devoted husband of 21 years, John Tremaine of Stony Creek are their three children, Kassondra J. Tremaine, Orlin L. Tremaine, and Evan F. Tremaine, all of Stony Creek; her brother, George Lee and his wife, Melissa of Jersey City, NJ; an aunt, Joyce Bacon of Fort Edward; and in-laws, Orlin C. Tremaine Jr., Bonnie Eldred, Roxanne Taylor, Sonia Sturtevant, Cindy Tremaine, Renee Willoughby, Shelia Elthorpe, and Victor Tremaine; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, and many dear friends; and her beloved three dogs, Jazz, Quinn, and Kai and her feline cat, Twilight.
Calling hours will be held Tues. Sept. 6 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette Street, Queensbury. Please bring some memories to share at 5:45 pm near the close of the calling hours.
At this time, there will be no funeral service or burial.
At the family request, donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the Baker Funeral Home to help defray funeral expenses.
