GLENS FALLS --- Megan A. Houlihan, 61, of Sagamore Street, passed away unexpectedly on February 12, 2021 at her home.

Born in Willamantic, CT on December 7, 1959, she was the daughter of the late Dr. Edward F.  and Lucia M. (Abate) Houlihan.Megan received a Bachelor of Arts and Masters Degree both in Economics from Fordham University in NY.

She began her career at Bankers Trust Company in New York City in 1982 until 1993. She then went on to work for several other Banking Institutions such as 1st Union Bank 1993 to 1995, Wachovia 1995 to 2006, SEI 2006 to 2008, Wilmington Trust 2008 to 2012.

She was retired from the Hudson River Community Credit Union in Corinth, NY.

Megan enjoyed spending time with family and friends, as well as reading.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sisters, Brenna Houlihan and Shana Houlihan of Dorset, VT, and Cathlin Palmer of Stafford Springs, CT; nieces and nephews, A.J. Palmer, Caitlin Burchfield, and Christian Palmer.

There will be a gathering to celebrate her memory when it is safe to be together.
