GLENS FALLS --- Michael Peter Averinos, 50, passed away January 1, 2022 at Glens Falls Hospital unexpectedly from health complications and contracting COVID.

Born March 19, 1971, in Manhattan he was the son of the late John Harry and Helen (Paras) Averinos.

Michael enjoyed being a Stock Option Investor for Prudential Securities. He also enjoyed taking road trips.

In addition to his parents, Michael was predeceased by his paternal grandmother, Stella Paras, maternal grandmother, Katina Averinos, maternal grandfather, Peter George Averinos and uncles, George Peter Averinos and George Paras.

Michael is survived by his brother, Chris George Averinos.

A graveside ceremony will take place Thursday, January 6, 2022, at 10 a.m. at Pine View Cemetery in Queensbury.
