FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. -- Michael W. Colton, 41, passed away unexpectedly April 9, 2012, in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
He was born Oct. 3, 1970, in Glens Falls, the son of Wayne F. Colton of Glens Falls and the late Arlene H. Moar of South Glens Falls, who passed away March 15, 2012.
Mike attended Glens Falls High School.
In addition to his mother, Arlene Moar, Mike was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Francis "Buck" and Irene Colton of Glens Falls; and maternal grandparents, Fred and Doris Miller of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada.He is also predeceased by his beloved companion, his dog, Skippy.
He is survived by his father, Wayne Colton of Glens Falls; three sisters, Joanne Weber and Beverly Colton, both of Glens Falls, and Karen Bauer and her husband, Mike, of Queensbury; three nieces; three nephews; one great-nephew; two great-nieces; his close friend, Phillip Tenney and his family of Florida; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family at Southside Cemetery in South Glens Falls.
