Obituary

Michael Joseph Hermance II, 47, passed away unexpectedly on September 24, 2025 in his Kingsbury home.

Born on October 26, 1977 in Glens falls NY, he was the son of Nancy DeLong and the late Michael Hermance Sr.

He was a lifelong learner and there was no limit on what he wanted to learn and do with his life. He proudly earned his General Educational development diploma to further this process. He was so proud to become a Car Salesman and it just came naturally for him. Over the past 5 years he has worked for Nemer Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram where not only did he meet great friends and customers but he also created a family. Overall he sold cars for about 8-10 years and he loved it. Mike had so many passions outside of his work. He loved watching wrestling, playing pool, building legos and he always looked forward to going home to spend time with his dog Baxter. He cherished the ability to create new memories which is why he traveled to so many different places to achieve his dreams.

Mike is survived by his daughter, Briana Hermance and her fiancé Nathan Fish; Shelby Sharrow who was like a daughter to him and her husband Nick Quinn. He was also " Papa" to Emma Sharrow, Aubree Quinn, and Paisley Quinn who were very special to him. His mother's husband Mark Delong; his sister, Carla Fish and her fiancé Bob Cronin as well as her 3 boys Michael Fish, Mathew Fish, and Brandon Fish. Along with his brother, Travis Delong and his wife Cassandra Delong. Also left to cherish his memory is his girlfriend, Ellen Barrett, numerous friends, Aunts, uncles, and cousins as well as his special, Dog Baxter.

He is predeceased by his fiancé, Lisa Tougaw who he considered a wife; and his grandparents Viola Bennett, Robert Bennett, Philip Scoville, and Catherine Scoville.

He truly was an amazing, kind, and devoted Father, Son, Brother, Partner, "Papa" and friend. Mike was the type of guy where he would do anything for you as long as he could. So we truly Thank everyone who has supported us through this tragic time.
