Obituary

QUEENSBURY -- Muriel Loretta Clark, 87, passed away Thursday, Aug. 27, 2015, at Glens Falls Hospital with her family by her side.

Born August 3, 1928 in Hague, NY, she was the daughter of the late Royal and Della (Robbins) Bennett.

After attending Hudson Falls School, Muriel worked at W.T. Grant in Hudson Falls and Jansko Furniture, Ft. Lauderdale FL.

Muriel had many enjoyments but most of all she loved her family and church. She was a member of the Harrisena Community Church for many years and delighted in various church activities, as well as, crocheting.

Along with her parents, Muriel was predeceased by her husband, Donald A. Clark; her daughter Dale A. Clark Clapper; grand-daughter, Tammy L. Clark; a brother, Herburt Bennett; and a son-in-law, Richard Clapper.

Those left to treasure her memory are her loving family including her son, Steven G. (Dee) Clark of Kingsbury and daughter, Lee Ann Clark of Glens Falls; her 6 grandsons, Channing Clapper (Samantha), Chad Clark (Keri), Douglas L. Christman (Angela), Jason (missy) Clapper, Brad (Jamie) Clark, and Sandy L. Jones II (Khayriyyah); 14 great-grandchildren; one great great-granddaughter; as well as, her sisters Alyce Rathbun, of Fort Ann, and Brenda (James) Ross.

Pall Bearers will be her grandsons, Brad and Chad Clark, Douglas Christman and Sandy Jones, Channing and Jason Clapper.

Calling hours will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 31, at Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette St., Queensbury.

A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will take place at Seeley's Cemetery, Queensbury following the funeral service.

The Harrisena Community Church will be hosting a gathering following the internment.

The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the following people, Mike and Jill, Barbara A., Sukey, Laura, Barbara C., and Roger and Mary.
