Obituary

GLENS FALLS---- Muriel Elaine (Slavin) Londrigan passed into eternal life on January 1, 2021 at 91 years old. Born in Hudson Falls on July 19 1929, the daughter of Edward and Edna ( Palmer )Slavin. She graduated from Hudson Falls High School. On April 15, 1950 she married Ralph Richard (Dick) Londrigan and lived in Glens Falls most of her years. She worked as an operator at the Telephone Company until her retirement. Muriel enjoyed all sports and was involved in The Glens Falls School Grandstanders. She and her friend Polly could be seen at high school games long after their own children graduated. She was also a member of the Telephone Pioneers.  She enjoyed gathering with family and friends, especially the monthly lunches with school friends and was well known for her fabulous baking skills, making some of the best pies, cakes and cookies for people all around the area. Muriel was predeceased by her husband Dick, her baby daughter Linda Lee, and her sisters Patricia Slavin and Claire Brennan.

Left to cherish her memory are her children Viki  (Christopher) Anderson, Mark Londrigan, Gary (Carolyn)Londrigan, Keith Londrigan (Paula),  her "adopted" son Bill Galletta, her grandsons  Ian Anderson & Darrin(Jacki) Anderson, Ryan (Paige)Londrigan,  Patrick (Emily)Londrigan & Seth Londrigan and Seth's mother Stephanie, and her great grandchildren Cambria, Corbin, Carter & Cooper. Several nieces ,nephews and cousins also survive her. There are no calling hours or services scheduled at this time. A memorial and burial at Union Cemetery will take place in the spring. The family would like to thank Dr. Bill Tedesco and his assistant Joyce for their care and friendship over the last two years.
