QUEENSBURY – Myron Sweet Jr. ,83, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2017 at Glens Falls Hospital.

Born in Glens Falls on July 1, 1933 he was the son of the late Myron and Gladys Sweet Sr.

Myron attended South Glens Falls School.

He was honorably discharged from the United States Army serving during the Korean War from 1951-1953.

Myron spent some of his time enjoying a good book or going for car rides. He loved meeting people and sitting on the deck watching them pass by. Also, Myron was fond of all animals and had several pets over the years.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by both his brother, Robert Sweet and sister, Dorothy Parsons.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Angela A. (Merrill) Sweet; his two daughters, Bonnie Garcia and Gloria Quinn; three grandchildren, along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will take place from 4 to 6 p.m. on Friday, January 27 at Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette St., Queensbury, NY 12804.

Burial will be private and at the convince of the family at Griswold Cemetery, South Glens Falls, New York.
