GLENS FALLS --- Nancy Margaret Clifton, 74, of Cronin High Rise, Glens Falls, passed away Aug. 22, 2012 in her sleep at Westmount Health Facility, Queensbury.
Born Feb. 1, 1939 in Hudson Falls, she was the daughter of the late Milton and Margaret (Bennett) McLaughlin.
A mother, grandmother, and a friend, Nancy was a woman of faith and pride.
In addition to her parents, Nancy was predeceased by a brother, Milton T. McLaughlin, and a sister, Jacqueline Carpenter.
Survivors include her daughter, Tammy Marie Bottiger, her husband, Howard, and their son, Casey, of Baltimore, M.D.; a son, Thomas Edward O'Leary, his wife, Wendy, and their daughter, Keara of Hudson Falls; siblings, Gary McLaughlin (Joyce), Anton King, Sherryn Espeseth (Michael), Barbara J. Hamlin (Garry), Joy Siuda (Chet), Daniel Carpenter (Kathy), and Scott McLaughlin who passed away shortly after Nancy; and a sister-in-law, Brigid McLaughlin. Nancy will be very missed and loved by all.
At her request, there will be no calling hours or funeral.
Burial will be private and at the convenience of her family at St. Mary's Cemetery, Ft. Edward.
