South Glens Falls – Nefetoria P. Mack, 67, passed away surrounded by family on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany, NY as the result of a battle with stage 5 kidney failure. Neffy, as she was known by, was born in Brooklyn, NY and was the daughter of the late Enid Wilson and late Willie Mack.

Neffy was a woman who devoted her time to helping others and spent most of her career in human services and social work as an administrative and executive assistant, advocating for adults with disabilities. She attended Medgar Evers College in Brooklyn, NY where her desire for service began. She devoted 17 years to FEGS, a nonprofit organization in NYC.

After moving to Glens Falls, NY, she spent many years working as a Program Coordinator for Preservation Management until a back injury required an early retirement. Neffy continued to help people through her community service and sharing of her faith with those around her.

Neffy has left behind a son, Adam Mack of North Tonawanda, NY, along with his wife Krystal and their four children, Inahra, Elayana, Annikah and Elias Mack. She has also left behind a daughter, Samantha Mack of Fayetteville, NC, and her two children, Shawn and Damaryia Mack. In addition, Neffy leaves behind her adopted daughter, Ana Lucia Mack of Brooklyn, NY.

Neffy was a woman of faith and now rests in the arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ. We celebrate her life at Baker Funeral Home on Friday, June 5, 2026. Calling hours and fellowship will begin at 4pm, followed by a Celebration of Life service at 5pm, officiated by her son, Adam Mack, an ordained minister of The Salvation Army.
