SOUTH GLENS FALLS --- Norma A. Henderson, 60, of Myron Rd., South Glens Falls, passed away Tuesday morning, July 30, 2013, at her home, surrounded by her family.
Born July 28, 1953 in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of the late James and Shirley (LaRich) Henderson.
She graduated from Glens Falls High School before starting her career as a hygiene therapist's aide at Wilton Developmental Center.
Norma enjoyed spending time with and taking care of her many pets and show birds.
In addition to her parents, Norma was predeceased by an uncle, Francis LaRich, and an aunt, Ruth Willard.
Survivors include her two children: one daughter, Toni Bennett and her husband, Danny, and their two children, Noah and Caleb, all of Colorado, and one son, Tyler Henderson of Saratoga; her two sisters, Dianne Persons and her husband, Ken, of Warrensburg, and Gail Paquette and her husband, Don, of Ft. Edward; three brothers, James Henderson of Colorado, Sam Henderson of Hudson Falls, Joseph Henderson of Hudson Falls; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Friends may call upon the family Thursday, Aug. 1, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at Maynard D. Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette St., Queensbury.
Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family at Union Cemetery in Ft. Edward.
The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to Dr. Stoutenburg and the nurses at C. R. Wood Cancer Center at Glens Falls Hospital, and also to the hospice nurses for the great care Norma received.
