Obituary

WILTON --- Pamela Lynn Rivette, 51, passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2018 after a long battle with cancer.

Born Dec. 29, 1966 in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of Helmut E. Schmeelke and Beverly V. Moulton.

Pamela graduated from South Glens Falls Senior High School in 1985.

She worked with Angio Dynamics and Bates Industries.

On June 3, 1995, Pamela married James Todd Rivette at the Church of Immaculate Conception in Corinth.

Some of her enjoyments included a love for camping, kayaking, going to concerts with friends, enjoying good food, Disney World, and going to the movies.

In addition to her father, Pamela was predeceased by her husband, James; an aunt, Edna Moulton Baird; and an uncle, Charles Harrington, Sr.

Those left to cherish her memory are her companion, Dicky C. Hunter of Wilton; children, Cory L. Pickett and Lianna R. Rivette of Wilton; mother, Beverly V. Schmeelke of Gansevoort; brothers, Michael J. Schmeelke of Gansevoort, William and Tammy Schmeelke of Whitehall, and Ernest R. Schmeelke of Lake George; her Aunt Shirley Harrington of Corinth, and Uncle Roy and Aunt Rose Moulton of Queensbury; in-laws, Jill and Kevin Petteys of Corinth, and Jim and Althea Rivette of Corinth, also several nieces, nephews, and cousins, and one dog, Sophie, and two cats Taz and Jasmine.

Calling hours will take place Tuesday, March 13, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette St., Queensbury, NY 12804.

A graveside service will take place in the spring at Corinth Rural Cemetery.

The family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to her Aunt Rose for all her help and care. Also to her beloved best friends, Theresa Chandler and Lisette Leroux.
