GLENS FALLS --- Patricia "Pat" Porter, 81, passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at The Pines in Glens Falls following a lengthy illness.

The daughter of Dr. R. George Wiswall DVM and Charlotte "Polly" (Thomas) Wiswall, Pat was born November 28, 1942 in Glens Falls.

After many dedicated years as an elementary school teacher, Mrs. Porter retired from Glens Falls School District.

In addition to her parents, Pat was predeceased by her husband, James Porter, and her brother Thomas "Tommy" Wiswall.

Survivors include her daughter Robyn (Joseph) Scotland and their children Brighton, Diego, and Basil Scotland, and a sister Susan Socha.

At her request, there will be no formal services.
