QUEENSBURY --- Patrick R. Celeste, age 66, passed away on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, while living with his nephew and family on Mud Pond Rd. in Queensbury.
Pat was born in Glens Falls on June 8, 1955 to Patrick D. and Doris V. (Hoag) Celeste.
As a graduate from Glens Falls High School, Pat stayed in his hometown and worked locally at the Glens Falls Civic Center, or you may have gotten a cab ride from him over the years with various companies. Most recently, he owned and operated Pat Celeste Blacktop.
Some of his enjoyments included hunting and fishing, as well as horse racing and other sports. Most of all, Pat was a great story teller and loved making people laugh.
In addition to his parents, Pat was predeceased by his sisters, Laurie A. (Celeste) O'Dell and Christine (Celeste) Amarina.
Survivors include his nephew: Jerry (Cara) Ross and four children Tristian "Buggie" Ross, Brandon and Megan Reilly, and Christina Tripp; nephew: Christopher A. Ross; nephew: Matthew T. Poulos; his best friend: Richard Every; other family friends: James Desourdy and Dakota Diehl; and many cousins and last but not least, Pat's pets: his dog, Buddy, and cats, Jo Jo and Bear.
Pat's family wishes to extend a thank you to all that responded to his aide, Ems, Warren County Sheriff and everyone that helped.
Friends are invited to join the family for a graveside ceremony on Wednesday, November 17, at 1 p.m. at St. Mary's Cemetery in South Glens Falls, where Pat will be laid to rest with his parents and sister.
