QUEENSBURY - Patrick E. Robinson, 81, of Queensbury Place passed away on April 9, 2024, at Glens Falls Hospital after courageously battling a long illness.

A devoted husband, father and brother, Patrick, who resided in the Glens Falls area his entire life, was born in Glens Falls on May 10, 1942, a son of the late Anna M. Hamelin and James H. Robinson.

Patrick graduated from Glens Falls High School and Culinary Institute of America (New Haven, CT); was a former chef and had retired from his career at Finch, Pruyn & Co., Inc. He was an avid sports fan, particularly of UConn Women's Basketball and the New York Giants.

He was predeceased by his loving wife of 57 years, Elizabeth; as well as his siblings, Alfred, James, Virginia and Patricia. He is survived by his sons, Chris and Tom of Vernon, CT; his siblings (and their spouses), Helen Girard (Gerald), Linda Dewey (Joseph), Joseph (Bonnie), Michael, Timothy, and Tracy (Jodi); as well as his in-laws (and their spouses), Sandra Corlew (Roger) and Gina Prindle (Alan).

The family would like to express their appreciation to the Tower 2 and Palliative Care staff at Glens Falls Hospital for their professionalism and compassion.

No calling hours or funeral will be held, and the burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Patrick's name to the UConn Foundation (in support of Women's Basketball).
