WARRENSBURG -- Patty Monahan DeLaire, 52, passed away suddenly Monday, Aug. 17, 2015 at Albany Medical Center.
Born Nov. 16, 1962 in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of William and Ann Monahan.
Patty cared very dear for Newfoundland Club and the SPCA where she donated to regularly.
She had a special love for people and animals, especially dogs. She spent the majority of her life caring for the handicapped, working at CWI, and later on took care of the elderly. Her compassion was unrivaled and truly will be missed.
Patty was predeceased by her father, William Monahan; her sister, Betty (Mike) Rayno; her father- and mother-in-law, Larry and Shirley DeLaire; as well as her brother-in-law, James DeLaire.
Survivors include her husband, Joel DeLaire; three Newfoundland children, Zack, Zevon, and Guinness; her mother, Ann Monahan of Glens Falls; two brothers, Richard (Charlene) Monahan of Plano, Texas and Robert (Sandy) Monahan of Glens Falls; a sister, Connie Cooper (Jim Caruso) of South Glens Falls; sister-in-law, Laurie (Gordy) Fish of Argyle; step-daughter, Daphne (Jon) Pellish of Buffalo; several nieces and nephews including, Ryan Monahan, Shannon Fife, Kim Copper Raimo, Matt Monahan, Jill Juidiciani, Joanne Cooper Smith, and Tim Wilson and his daughter, Haley.
