Paul J. McKinney, 65, passed away suddenly Sunday, January 5, 2025.

He graduated from Hudson Falls High School in 1977.

Paul was a Corrections Officer at Great Meadow Correctional Facility for 34 ½ years, ultimately retiring in 2018.

Paul will be greatly missed by his family. He was a good dad and a proud grandpa. He loved his grandkids with all he had to give and there was nothing he wouldn't do for his family. Paul spent many years with his wife traveling in their RV, leaving behind many good stories to share and cherish.

Paul was a member of the Martin Hollow Hunting Club.

Paul is predeceased by his parents, John and Jean (Hubbard) McKinney.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife and best friend, Marie of 44 years; sons, Brian (Nikki), and Benjamin (Gina); three grandchildren, Travis, Riley, and Maelyn; brother, Frank (Linda); and his sister, Barbara; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws.

Visitation will take place Thursday January 9, 2025, 10a.m. to 12p.m. at Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette St., Queensbury, NY 12804.

A funeral service will follow at 12p.m.

A graveside ceremony will be at Union Cemetery, 8 Schuyler Street, Hudson Falls, New York 12839 after the funeral service.
