SOUTH GLENS FALLS --- Paul L. Sprague, 76, of Riverview Street, passed away Monday, February 8, 2021 unexpectedly.

Born on August 17, 1944 in North Hudson, NY, Paul was the son of Paul L. Sprague Sr. and Athromay Hozley.

After graduating high school he was employed as a tractor trailer driver for 42 years and then was employed at Perkins Recycling for 25 years. Paul married Charmaine Sprague in Glens Falls. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and NASCAR. He served as captain of the Schroon Lake Fire Department and was also a member of Essex County Fire Police. He was also apart of Schroon Lake Fish and Game Club. Paul resided in Schroon Lake, NY, Concord, NC, South Glens Falls and Queensbury throughout his life. He loved his pet cats very much.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by Florence Howe.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Charmaine Sprague, children, Todd LaBounty, Paul and Chrisy Sprague, John and Paula Hill; his siblings, John Sprague and wife Bert of Kansas, Samuel Sprague and wife Diane of Arizona, Barney Sprague and wife of Detroit, also several grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
