GLENS FALLS --- Philip Francis Corbett, 80, passed away Friday, September 29, 2023.

Born March 20, 1943, in Glens Falls, he was the son of Robert Thomas and Celia (Gersten) Corbett.

Phil graduated from Glens Falls Senior High School in 1962 and went onto work at CR Bard for over 40 years as a sprayer.

On June 6, 2009, Phil married Rhoda Flaven.

He loved telling jokes, singing, going out to eat, camping, and taking nice long rides trying to get lost and find his way back home again. He especially enjoyed traveling all over Europe, the United States, and Canada, as well as bowling and golfing in Ireland. And on occasion he would head to St. Andrews in Scotland with his friends on a special favorite golfing trip.

Phil was predeceased by his parents and Rhoda's children, Richard Martin, Eva Jane Connor, and Marjorie McClure.

Phil is survived by his wife Rhoda; his stepchildren, Michelle Brilyea, Allen Martin, Nicole Willette, and Geri Parker; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Marcia (Albert) Perry and Sharon (John) Moynihan; also, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will take place Wednesday, October 4, 2023, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette St., Queensbury, NY 12804.

A memorial service will immediately follow at 12 p.m. at the funeral home with Lay Minister Roberta Brynes, officiating.

Burial will take place at the convenience of the family.
