ARGYLE & LAKE GEORGE --- Phillip V. Johnson, 47, formerly of Argyle and most recently of Lockhart Mt. Rd., Lake George, passed away suddenly at his home Tuesday morning, June 5, 2012, with his loving wife and sons by his side.
Born August 21, 1964 in Glens Falls, he was the beloved son of Robert W. and Andree C. (Haessly) Johnson.
Phil attended Argyle Central School before working for various employers, including CWI, Glens Falls Hospital, and Cumberland Farms.
Some of his enjoyments included gardening and cooking. He was known for his delicious cheesecake. Above all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Phil was predeceased by maternal and paternal grandparents.
Survivors include his loving wife of 19 years, Sue-Lynn (Lockhart) Johnson; two sons, Ryan and Brendon Johnson; a daughter, Courtney (Lockhart) Harrington; his parents, Robert and Andree Johnson; two sisters, Celeste McDonald and Jeanie Underwood; a brother, Robert Johnson; two grandchildren, Whitney and Owen Harrington; numerous aunts and uncles; his in-laws, Frank and Jessie Lockhart; several nieces, nephews, cousins, dear friends, and extended family members.
Friends may call upon the family Thursday, June 7, from 5 to 7 p.m. and again Friday, June 8, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Maynard D. Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette St., Queensbury.
A Mass of the Ressurection will be celebrated June 8, at 11:30 a.m. at St. James' Episcopal Church, 172 Ottawa St., Lake George, with the Rev. Julie McPartlin officiating, and bagpipes being performed by Gerald Cashion.
A private burial will take place at a later date the Evergreen Cemetery in Lake George at the convenience of the family.
