SARATOGA --- Raymond V. Steady Jr., 77, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2017 at Warren Center in Queensbury.

Born Aug. 22, 1939 in Saratoga, he was the son of Raymond V. Steady Sr. and Bernice (VanDenburg) Steady.

He graduated Saratoga high school.

For many years, he spent time working with Natale Rambler and at Bardino Motors.

His favorite hobby was fishing.

In addition to his parents, Raymond was predeceased by two brothers, Alfred and Richard; and two sisters, Carol and Patricia.

Those left to cherish his memory are three children, Raymond Steady III of Greenfield Center, Tina Steady of Hudson Falls, and James (Chasidy) Steady of Hudson Falls; three grandchildren, Tina Ruth Jean Steady of Hartville, Missouri, Stephen Lawrence Willey of Steuben, Maine, and Ava Rose Steady of Hudson Falls; great-grandchild, Aron Steady of Hartville, Missouri; and brother, Mike Steady.

Calling hours will take place from 3 to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 18 at Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette St., Queensbury, NY 12804.
