Obituary

FORT EDWARD --- Rebecca Spaulding, 57, passed away unexpectedly on April 27, 2019, at Glens Falls Hospital with her loved ones by her side.

Born on October 7, 1961, in Montpelier, VT, she was the daughter of Edward Lewis II and Marilyn J. LaPier.

She graduated from Fort Ann Central School. Following school, Rebecca worked in the service industry for many years.

On August 21, 1997, she married Frank Spaulding.

Rebecca loved animals, camping, being outdoors and spending time with her friends, family and her dog, Phoenix. She was a very proud and active member of AA for 28 years of her life. Not only did she volunteer countless time and energy, but she helped organize many functions for the group.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her mother-in-law, Helen Spaulding, and her nephews, Jeremy Voorhees and Thomas Lewis.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Frank Spaulding; her companion, Anthony Smith; her daughters, Sheena Heydrick and Amanda Warrington and her husband, Alex; her step-sons, Frank Spaulding Jr., Patrick Spaulding and Jordan Spaulding; her grandchildren, Cheyenne Warrington, Dyami Warrington and Dean Warrington; her sisters, Mary Hopkins and her husband, Fred, and Joyce Lewis; her brothers, Richard Lane, Bill Lewis and his wife, Kathy, and Edward Lewis III and his wife, Patty; also many, many nieces and nephews, and her beloved dog, Phoenix.

Services were private at the family's request.

The family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to the doctors and nurses in the Glens Falls Hospital ICU and to Baker Funeral Home.
