Richard P. Pearsall's Obituary
QUEENSBURY – Richard P. Pearsall, 89, a resident of The Glen at Hiland Meadows, passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2015.
Born Nov. 25, 1925 in Lakeview, N.Y., Richard was the son of Harry and Marie (Hoffman) Pearsall.
After High School Richard enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served onboard the U.S.S. Shangri-la from October 1943 until his honorable discharge in April 1946.
On September 28, 1946, in West Hempstead, N.Y., he married his dearly loved wife, Margaret Felton. They would have celebrated 69 years of marriage this September.
Along with Richards's parents and wife, he was predeceased by his son, Robert M. Pearsall of Mastic, New York.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Kathleen Ellis and her husband, Edward, of Colorado Springs, Colorado; a daughter-in-law, Gail Pearsall of Mastic, New York; five grandchildren, Tammy Mosley of St. Robert, Missouri, Robert S. Pearsall of Mastic, New York, Rebecca Miles of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Edward I. Ellis of Highlands Ranch, Colorado and Jessica Untener of Westminster, Colorado; as well as 10 great-grandchildren, Ashlei, Daniel, Gina, Jessica, Eddie, Jaime ,Kyle, Laney, Brenna and Matthew.
There will be no calling hours or memorial service, per the family's request.
Interment will take place at Calverton National Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
