Obituary

QUEENSBURY --- Robert P. Cutter, 66, of Mud Pond Rd., Queensbury, passed away unexpectedly Jan. 2, 2015 at Albany Stratton VA Medical Center.

Born April 10, 1948, he was the son of Perly E. and Annie L. (Morris) Cutter.

Bob was a graduate of Queensbury High School. He was drafted in the United States Army on Jan. 14, 1969, serving in the Vietnam War, and was honorably discharged Oct. 7, 1970. Upon returning home, Bob began driving truck for various trucking companies, which he enjoyed for many years.

Some of his hobbies included watching NASCAR, especially No. 48 Jimmie Johnson, throwing horse shoes, and motorcycling and trucking. Above all, he loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.

Bob was a member of Queensbury V.F.W. Post No. 6196.
In addition to his parents, Bob was predeceased by a brother, David Cutter, and a son, Norman Cutter.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of almost 22 years, Gloria Cutter; three children, Guy Cutter (Brenda Webster), Robert (Theresa) Cutter II, Nicole (Joshua) Mattison; two step-sons, Shaun and Michael Burbo; five grandchildren, Echo, Mia, Collin, Nathan, and JJ; six step-grandchildren, Carrie, Casey, Caleb, Shaun, Matt, and Mitch; three brothers, Roger (Anne), Dennis, and Rodney Cutter; one aunt, Betty Kilmartin; many nieces, nephews, cousins; and his golden retriever and four legged bud, Kelsey.

Calling hours will be held Tuesday, Jan. 6, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Maynard D. Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette St., Queensbury, NY 12804.

A gathering to celebrate his life will take place at 2 p.m. at Bob and Gloria's house.

A graveside service, with military honors, will take place Friday, May 22, at 11 a.m. at St. Alphonsus Cemetery in Queensbury.

The family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to the doctors and staff at Albany Stratton VA Medical Center for their care and support during his stay there.
