Queensbury--- Robert "Bob" D. Burch passed away with his family at his bedside at Indian River Nursing Center in Granville on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 following a long illness at the age of 69.

Kenneth and Winifred (Holcomb) Burch's only son was born on July 23, 1952 in Glens Falls Hospital.

Bob graduated from Queensbury High School. For many years, he delivered auto parts for West Side Auto. He enjoyed racing and working on cars, spending time with his family, and most recently, he enjoyed playing BINGO.

In addition to his parents, Bob was predeceased by a son, Robert D. Burch and a granddaughter, Mackenzie Lynn Burch.

Survivors include his four children, Steve A. (Lori) Burch, Todd (Nequila) Burch, Stacy Dudley, and Mark (Gwen) Burch; grandchildren, Steve Jr., Molli, Hailey, Tyler, Tara, Dylan, Brett, Damian, Mariah, Mark Jr., Julia, Brooke, and Madyson; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Jacklyn Hammond and Bonnie Chenier; also several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A graveside ceremony will take place Monday, August 16 at 2 p.m. at St. Mary's Cemetery in South Glens Falls.

Friends are invited to join the family after the graveside service at South Glens Falls Firehouse on Route 197, for refreshments and to continue sharing memories.

The family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to the staff at Indian River A Wing, especially Amanda, for all of their care and support over these last years.
