GLENS FALLS - Robert Mahon Jr., 49, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 27, 2024.

Born on November 11, 1974, in Syracuse, NY son of Robert Mahon Sr. and Leona Gerni.

Robert is predeceased by both of his parents and grandparents, Rich and Lillian Mahon.

Those left to cherish his memory are his son Jaden Mahon (Alisia Renteria) and his mother Danielle Robillard, daughter Shania Mahon (Ian Wheeler) and her mother Melissa Trackey; sisters Victoria Billings (Dave Billings), Kristin Cohen (Tom Vrooman), Valerie Reister (Bobby Reister); Niece Alexis Antelmi; nephews Aryk and Garin Cohen, Thilo Davis; along with his lifelong friends. He shared a special bond with his beloved granddaughter 2-year-old Sophia Wheeler.

Robert graduated from South Glens Falls High School in 1992 and studied Criminal Justice at SUNY Plattsburgh.

Throughout his life he had a passion for music and DJ'ing, as well as putting on events such as Local Car Shows. He always had an entrepreneur mindset. Most recently he worked in construction and enjoyed renovation projects. Robert has always had the ability to bring laughter to any situation even as a child, putting on comedy skits for his siblings.

He was the most passionate about the love for his children. He never hesitated to make the 4-hour drive on a Friday night after work to spend quality time with his daughter and granddaughter for the weekend. And he always made sure to be back home in time to watch the Sunday night football games with his son. His children were truly his greatest achievement in life.

Visitation will be held Friday, June 14, 2024, at 3-5 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette Street Queensbury, NY 12804. A share time will be held from 4:30-5 p.m., bring memories to share.
