Obituary

Robert J. Taylor, 57, passed away unexpectedly in Florida where him & his dear wife, Rhonda, lived for the last few years. Born in Glens Falls, NY on April 28, 1969 to Ronald & Muriel (St. John) Taylor. Bob graduated from Fort Ann Central School in 1988, having been voted "Hot Legs" his senior year.

After high school, Bob worked at a local farm then spent 10 years in Florida where he met his best friend and dog, Marley. He then moved back to the Fort Ann area where he met his future wife, Rhonda Hack. They were married on a beach, at the family's favorite campground on August 5, 2005. Together they raised three beautiful children. He worked for Precise Painting in Hudson Falls for 23 years. Bob loved camping and being outdoors. Everyone loved his grilling skills & potato salad. He always had the New York Yankees on TV in the summer. Bob was the best Grampy and absolutely loved his grandchildren, spending many hours playing board games & outdoors with them. He was proud to have passed the name Robert as middle names to his son and grandson. When Bob & Rhonda retired to Florida, his biggest joy was giving his dog, Brutus, rides on the golf cart. Above all else, he loved his family wholeheartedly.

Bob was predeceased by his father, Ronald L.; brothers, Joseph T. and Paul S. Taylor; and special aunt, Sister Mary Louise St. John.

Left behind with his memories are his wife, Rhonda (Hack) Taylor; daughters, Kristen (DiCiccio) McCartin and Madisyn Taylor; son, Nicholas Taylor; grandchildren, Paetyn and Hudson McCartin; mother, Muriel Taylor; sisters, Theresa (Dan) Truesdale and Laura (James) Colvin; in laws, Ronald and Candace Hack, Sherry and Michael Barcomb; and many nieces & nephews.
