QUEENSBURY --- Ruth Irene Camp, 67, of Aviation Rd., Queensbury, passed away Wed. Nov. 7, 2012 at her home with her family by her side, following a fight with lung cancer.
Born Oct. 22, 1945 in Hudson Falls, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Irene (Butler) Camp.
Ruth graduated from Queensbury High School, and attended West Mountain Community Church.
Ruth loved and cherished spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed gardening, quilting, and the company of her cats and dog.
In addition to her parents, Ruth was predeceased by her brother, Lawrence Camp.
Survivors include her three children, Henry Winchell of Queensbury, Kathy Eaton and her husband, Robert, of Queensbury, and Claudia Winchell of Queensbury; eight grandchildren, Jacob, Sarah, Alexandra, Damon, and Mason Winchell, Zachary Hamell, and Robert and Cassandra Eaton; one great-granddaughter, Kylie Nichols; also nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends may call upon the family Tuesday, Nov. 13, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Maynard D. Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette St., Queensbury.
A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. David McCane, pastor of Oneida Community Church, officiating.
Burial will then follow at Pine View Cemetery, Quaker Rd., Queensbury.
