GLENS FALLS --- Sally J. Swann, 73, of Murdock Ave., passed away peacefully Thursday evening, October 13, 2016, at Glens Falls Hospital.

She was born September 10, 1943 in Whitehall.

Sally enjoyed playing cards, and watching wrestling and football, routing for the Philadelphia Eagles. Above all she loved spending time with her friends and family.

She had a wonderful life and will be missed dearly.

In addition to her parents, Sally was predeceased by three brothers, Andy, Franklin, and Wilber McDonald, and three sisters, Cynthia Basque, Marion Tougaw, and Bertha Crowell.

Those left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband of 37 years, Robert Swann; her daughters, Wendy LaRoe (husband, Jeff), Tina Harrington (husband, John), Penny Witherbee (wife, Sarah Grasso), Susan Duell, and Julie Witherbee (companion, Lenny Kornn); 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lee Winchell and Grace (Charlie) Fisher; two brothers, Francis (Carol) McDonald and Stanley (Jerry) McDonald; also several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

There will be no calling hours or funeral.

Sally's family has invited everyone to her home at 3 p.m. Thursday, October 20, for a remembrance gathering.

The family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to the many caregivers in recent months who helped and support Sally and her family.
