Sara Beth
Villa
Sep 27, 1958 — Sep 13, 2024
GLENS FALLS --- Sara Beth Villa, 65, a lifelong resident of Glens Falls, passed away Friday September 13, 2024, at Glens Falls Hospital after a brief and courageous battle with cancer. Her loving family was by her side as she met our Lord Jesus.
Sara Beth, affectionately known as Beth by her family and Sara by her friends, was born to William and Sarah (Graham) Villa on September 27, 1958, in Glens Falls, New York. She was the oldest of four. She graduated from Glens Falls High School in 1976 and earned her bachelor's degree from Atlantic Christian College in Wilson, NC. Throughout her life she worked for Troy Savings, TD Bank, Cost Control Associates and the past 15 years for Warren Tire as their bookkeeper. She loved learning whether it was professionally or personally. She was passionate about history, especially our family's legacy. Fondly referred to as the "family historian." We will forever miss her library of memories, filled with stories and adventures.
Sara Beth was a kind soul with a heart of gold, always there for family and friends. She professed her life to Christ at an early age. She was passionate about sharing the love of the Lord with others. She was a faithful member of the Church of the King for over 40 years. Now that Sara Beth has passed into the arms of our Lord, her physical life on earth is over but it is the beginning of an eternal and beautiful journey for her.
Sara Beth joins her grandparents, parents, youngest brother Don Villa and nephew Steven White. She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Steve White; brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Pam Villa; sister-in-law, Denise Villa; aunt, Barbara Barden of Queensbury; uncle, J. Donald Graham of Savoy, Illinois; nieces, Megan Villa, and Emily (Ryan) Staha; nephews, Michael Villa, Mark (Liz) Villa, Jared and Jonathan White; along with a grandnephew and grandniece and several cousins.
She will be forever grateful for her friend and roommate, Kathleen Fish. But most of all she'll miss her beloved pup "Levi."
Family, friends and others whose lives Sara Beth touched are invited to Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette Street, Queensbury, NY 12804, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Wednesday September 18, 2024.
