HUDSON FALLS --- Sarah "Sally" Gallagher, 64, of Oak St., Hudson Falls, died Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at Glens Falls Hospital, with her family by her side.

Born Sept. 29, 1950 in Ticonderoga, she was the daughter of Lewis Burgess Sr. and Winifred (Wickham) Burgess.

Sally had the privilege of staying home and raising her children. She also spent some time working at American Tree and Wreath after her children were gown.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband John "Jack" B. Gallagher, and two brothers, Richard and George Mumblow.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Shirley (Jody) Mattice of Coxsackie, and Melody Gallagher Noe of Hudson Falls; brothers, Lewis (Joanne) Burgess Jr. and Stephen Burgess, all of Bolton Landing; granddaughter, Stephanie N. Mattice of Coxsackie; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

At her request, there will be no calling hours or funeral.

A graveside ceremony will take place Thursday, July 30, at 11 a.m. at Bolton Rural Cemetery, with the Rev. Robert Johnson, pastor of First United Methodist Church of Coxsackie, officiating.
