QUEENSBURY---Scott W. Boes, 67, passed away, Monday, November 27, 2017, in his sleep at home after a sudden, and short illness.

Born September 24, 1950, in Oceanside, N.Y., he was the son of George and Ruth (Meyer) Boes.

Scott was a "rock" for his family, never failing to help when needed. He dearly loved his grandchildren and always took the time to bring them on adventures. Scott could often be seen buying scratch offs, eating steak, fishing, or watching sports, such as the N.Y. Giants and the N.Y. Yankees with his newspaper in hand. His practical and down to earth nature will surely be missed. You will never find another Scotty Boes!!!

In addition to his parents, Scott was predeceased by his brother, Keith.

Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Amanda Boes (Jeremy VanSalisbury) of Queensbury, Sharon Hobbs of Marietta, N.Y., Jason Hobbs (Alicja) of Dix Hills, N.Y. and Lance Tong of Califon, N.J.; grandchildren, Colin, Abigail, Zach, Darrien, Douglas, Jared, Kaylan and Olivia; sisters, Carol (Bob) of Florida and Nancy (Mike) of N.Y.; brothers, Jonathan (Tarah) of N.Y. and Ralph (Shirley) of Florida.; and his nieces to pieces, Stacey, Danielle, Jaclyn, Alexandra, Taylor, Leila, Gracie and Elena.

The family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to the staff of High Peaks Hospice, and also to Robert Reeves.
