BOLTON LANDING --- Stephen H. Martyniak Jr., 79, unexpectedly passed away on June 3, 2019, with his loved ones by his side.
Born on July 12, 1939, in Far Rockaway (Queens), NY, he was the son of Stephen Harry Sr. and Anna (Fedoroff) Martyniak.
After graduating high school, he was an electrical contractor.
On December 9, 1961, he married his beloved wife, Henrietta Otten.
Throughout his life, he found immense enjoyment in hunting, horse racing, sport shows, playing cards and, above all, spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his daughters, Ann Marie and Donna Martyniak; his grandparents, Mary and Harry Martyniak, and Dorothy and Harry Fedoroff; his brother, James Martyniak.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Henrietta Martyniak of Bolton Landing, NY; his daughter, Diane Dobraj and spouse, Maz Dobraj, of Wingdale, NY; his grandchildren, Stephen Martyniak and spouse, Katie, of Amenia, NY, Blake Dobraj and spouse, Brittany, of Winsted, CT. and Brandon Dobraj of Wingdale, NY; his great-grandchildren, Hannah and Rylee Maryniak of Amenia, NY and Savannah Dobraj of Winsted, CT.; his sister-in-law, Berta Martyniak and brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Christina Savage; also his nieces and nephews, James Martyniak, Cindy Pascalli, John, Theresa, Neal and Jennifer Savage, and cousin, Nancy Barry.
Calling hours will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 6, 2019, at Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette St., Queensbury, NY 12804.
A funeral service will follow at the funeral home, with the Rev. Janet Dunn officiating. Please bring a special memory of Stephen to share during the service.
