GLENS FALLS --- Steven D. Brackett, 46, passed away unexpectedly on the evening of April 27 ^th , 2017.

Steve was born in Rome, NY, to the late Ralph H. Brackett Jr., and the late Maureen J. (Carta) Cassidy.

He graduated from Rome Free Academy in 1989 and enjoyed spending his free time writing poetry and being with his loved ones.

In addition to his parents, Steven was predeceased by his beloved son, Benjamin R. Brackett who passed away in 2014.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Corlene L. Brackett, two sisters, Laureen J. Jandroep, and Lisa M. Brackett; as well as several aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Calling hours will take place May 5, 2017 from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette St., Queensbury, NY 12804.

A memorial service will follow at 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
