QUEENSBURY --- Steven Scott Smith, 63, passed away with loved ones by his side Sunday, December 28, 2025.

Born May 15, 1962 in Glens Falls, New York he was the son of Floyd and Stella Pearl (Cross) Smith.

Steven attended Queensbury High School.

Steven worked as a truck driver for many years with O'Conner's Trucking.

There were many things Steven enjoyed doing, his greatest enjoyment was salt water aquariums.

In addition to his parents, Steven was predeceased by his grandparents, Hollis and Stella Cross; siblings, Robert Smith, Richard Smith, Michael Smith, and Janice Smith; and brother-in-law, James Connelly.

Those left to cherish his memory are siblings, Floyd (Debra), Tom (Robyn), Bill (Ruth Couture), David (Pam), Peter, (Sheila), Paul (Barb Winchip), Fred (Jina), and Daniel (Stacy); sisters, JoAnn Connelly, Marylou (Chuck) Jones, and Susan (Jeff Greene); aunt, Joan Counter; 21 nieces and nephews; and several cousins, great nieces, and nephews.

A graveside ceremony will take place at 11:00am on Monday, January 12, 2026 at Pine View Cemetery.

A gathering will be held February 1, 2026 at 4 p.m. at the West Glens Falls Fire House, 33 Luzerne Road, Queensbury, NY 12804.
